Monday, May 28, 2007. By the time I learned how to climb trees, the branches of the tree were already too big and too high for my short arms and legs. Instead, I was drawn to the tree to inspect it for the hollowed-out exoskeletons of cicadas. But before I can do that, I still need to hear the cicadas.
